Who am I?
Hi, my name is Niklas, but you can call me Nik!
I'm a design engineer specializing in creating amazing experiences for the modern web, with a strong focus on attention to detail and interactions. This is my personal website where I share my thoughts, projects, and experiences with the world.
What do I do?
I'm mostly focused on all things web, including design, accessibility, full-stack development, and performance optimization. I particularly enjoy frontend development, where I can tinker with every last pixel until the result looks and feels perfectly polished.
When not working with web stuff, I also periodically tinker with iOS and macOS development using Swift, as well as Rust, Python, C# and Ruby for various fun projects on the side.
Where am I located?
I live and work in southern Germany, in the city of Karlsruhe. It's a beautiful city with a lot of parks and green spaces, and when I'm not tinkering in the digital world, I enjoy its outdoorsy vibe and cultural scene. If you're ever around, let's grab a drink!
